The Merino wool pile socks are inspired by outdoor and trekking socks, with a fit perfect for everyday wear. To compensate for wool's weakness to abrasion, a special technique is used to cover the surface with cotton, increasing durability. Nylon thread is also used in the color-coordinated areas of the toe, heel, and sole for additional reinforcement.
